How much does OpenCart hosting cost?
Our managed UK hosting starts at £1 a day + VAT. A live OpenCart shop is priced on its own on a quick call, because traffic, product count and the number of extensions running all change what the server has to cope with. You’ll have a firm figure before anything moves, and the migration itself is free.
Do you host old OpenCart 2 and OpenCart 3 shops?
Yes. Plenty of good shops still run on OpenCart 2 or 3, and we keep them online safely: isolated from other sites, patched at the server level, with a web application firewall in front. When you’re ready to upgrade or rebuild, we can help with that too, on your timetable rather than a host’s deadline.
Will I lose orders or extensions when you move the shop?
Migration is free and we plan it around your orders. Extensions, themes and any vQmod or OCmod changes travel with the files, and we test the checkout on our servers before anything changes hands. The database gets a final copy taken minutes before the domain switches, so orders placed that morning land in your admin rather than on the old host. You will not lose an order in the move, and the shop stays open while we do it.
Do you deal with vQmod and OCmod problems?
Often. We build and repair OpenCart shops as well as host them, so modification conflicts, broken overrides and extensions that fight each other are familiar territory. If your shop misbehaves after an update, phone us and we will find the cause rather than guessing.
